Based on a clear understanding of what you need, I will recommend a path forward that works for you and gets results. Many of my engagements include some combination of my services in support of a broader goal. My clients appreciate the flexibility and tailoring, and I thrive on creating solutions that make a real difference. So while the service descriptions may appear as stand-alone solutions, rest assured that my style is not “if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail”. I mix and meld the tools in my toolkit, expertise, and common sense to deliver what’s needed. In addition, all of these services can be delivered virtually. I leverage platforms and tools such as Zoom and GroupMind to ensure virtual events are as good as - and in some ways better - than in-person events.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
As Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner, authors of the best selling book The Leadership Challenge®, say, “Leadership is not a place, it’s not a gene, and it’s not a secret code that can’t be deciphered by ordinary people. The truth is that leadership is an observable set of skills and abilities.” The Leadership Challenge® workshop is a highly engaging, practical session fueled by 360-degree feedback for participants via The Leadership Practices Inventory® (click here to view a sample report). I am a Certified Master level facilitator of this program, a designation held by only about 50 people world wide. Virtual Facilitation
Virtually (pun intended!) all of the services listed here can be delivered virtually with no compromise in quality and impact. I expertly leverage tools such as Zoom and GroupMind (a group collaboration and intelligence platform) to ensure my virtual workshops are engaging and effective. In fact, there are many advantages to online facilitation such as reduced costs, global reach, scheduling flexibility, and more balanced participation between introverts and extraverts. A sample client feedback quote from a recent virtual session was “Really great class. It met and exceeded my expectations for a virtual session. Amy did a great job keeping us engaged with group activities”.
TEAM performance
Bringing out the best in teams can be challenging, but the payoff can be game changing. The team building work I do is based on the work of Patrick Lencioni and his best selling book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. The foundation of this process is a powerful set of data that comes from the team members themselves. With this information established through an anonymous survey, we can identify the highest leverage items that will improve the team’s ability to deliver exceptional results.

COACHING
My coaching practice focuses on working with high performing leaders who want to enhance their ability to manage the human side of work. I leverage my own experience and best-in-class tools and methods to help leaders realize their full potential. I am a certified coach with a specialty in the Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Coaching process.

It’s not at all unusual to have things “go bump in the night” in organizations. You may have an important strategic or change initiative that’s just not getting traction. Perhaps you have some employee engagement or diversity and inclusion feedback that you want to see improvement with. Or maybe the turnover in a given area of your company is beyond healthy levels. Leveraging my 25+ years in Human Resources in complex organizations, I can design and implement a process to objectively and confidentially diagnose what’s happening and recommend a path forward.

But most of us tend to view the actions of others through our own “lens”, and that can lead to misunderstanding and resentment.
